Täby Park is created to meet today’s yearning for city life, yet offers small town familiarity with the freedom of nature. The old horse race track has moved out and in it’s place is a wonderful central piece of land that will form a new urban district. 

Stockholm, but not Stockholm

The new district is situated right in the centre of Täby (pop. 68 000), and will be an integral part of the local municipality, as well as the expanding city of Stockholm. 

Equally close to the city centre and the airport. But why leave? 

Yes, the short distance to downtown Stockholm – only 16 kilometers – is one of Täby’s advantages. But for Täby Park it is even more important to create a place where you can live, work and play without commuting all the time. Therefore, we are creating space for local restaurants, parks and playgrounds, schools and work places, and encouraging their habitation. Good bicycle paths are a must, as are the smooth travel options to the city of Stockholm, or to Arlanda airport.
